Quality Control
China Loong Metal Building Material Co., Ltd. applies structured quality control throughout material sourcing, production, finishing, packaging, and shipment. Our inspection procedures are adapted to the specifications of each order, covering products such as aluminum profiles, metal sheets and panels, roofing and cladding, doors, windows, fencing, gates, railings, building components, and steel structure systems. The objective is to deliver consistent dimensions, reliable fabrication, suitable surface quality, and accurate order fulfillment for international B2B customers.
1. Incoming Material Inspection
Raw materials and purchased components are checked before being released for production. Inspection requirements are determined by the product design, approved specifications, purchase documents, and intended application.
- Material verification: Material type, grade, thickness, dimensions, and other specified characteristics are reviewed against order requirements.
- Visual inspection: Metal coils, sheets, profiles, sections, hardware, and accessories are checked for visible damage, corrosion, deformation, contamination, or other conditions that may affect processing.
- Component review: Fasteners, fittings, seals, locks, hinges, and related parts are verified for compatibility and quantity where applicable.
- Documentation control: Supplier documents and material information are reviewed when required by the order or product specification.
2. In-Process Quality Control
Quality checks are performed at appropriate production stages to identify deviations before subsequent operations. Our teams follow internal inspection standards and order-specific work instructions for cutting, forming, extrusion processing, machining, welding, assembly, and surface treatment.
- Dimensional control: Length, width, thickness, hole position, angle, profile geometry, and assembly dimensions are checked using suitable measuring equipment.
- Fabrication control: Formed edges, joints, welds, cut surfaces, and connection points are examined according to applicable drawings and product requirements.
- Surface process monitoring: Coating, painting, anodizing, galvanizing, or other specified finishes are monitored for appearance, color consistency, coverage, and handling condition, subject to the selected finish.
- Sample and drawing confirmation: Approved drawings, samples, or technical requirements are used as production references when provided.
- Nonconforming material control: Items that do not meet defined requirements are identified and separated for evaluation, correction, rework, or other appropriate disposition.
3. Finished Product Inspection
Completed products undergo final inspection based on their design and intended function. Inspection scope may vary among metal roofing and cladding, panels and sheets, aluminum extrusions, doors and windows, fencing and railing systems, gates, accessories, and structural building components.
- Appearance: Surfaces are checked for scratches, dents, stains, coating irregularities, sharp edges, and other visible defects that may affect acceptance.
- Dimensions and configuration: Key dimensions, profiles, openings, connection details, and component arrangements are verified against approved documentation.
- Assembly and operation: Doors, windows, gates, locks, hinges, fittings, and movable parts are checked for fit and basic operation where applicable.
- Quantity and completeness: Products, accessories, fasteners, and ordered components are counted and matched with the packing requirements.
- Product-specific checks: Additional inspections may be conducted according to customer specifications, drawings, samples, or industry-aligned practices.
4. Packaging and Pre-Shipment Check
Packaging is selected with consideration for product shape, finish, weight, handling method, and transportation conditions. Protective films, wrapping, edge protection, separators, cartons, pallets, crates, or other suitable materials may be used according to the product and agreed packing plan.
- Protection review: Exposed surfaces, corners, edges, and finished components are checked for appropriate protection against movement and contact damage.
- Label verification: Product descriptions, quantities, package identification, and shipping marks are reviewed against confirmed order information.
- Packing completeness: Accessories, installation components, and documents are checked before packages are closed when included in the order.
- Pre-shipment review: Package count, loading information, and order details are verified before dispatch to reduce shipment discrepancies.
5. Feedback, Corrective Action, and Continuous Improvement
China Loong Metal Building Material Co., Ltd. treats customer feedback as an important part of quality management. When a quality concern is reported, our team reviews the available order records, drawings, inspection information, production details, packaging condition, and supporting photos or documents to identify the cause.
Appropriate corrective actions may include process adjustment, additional inspection, revised work instructions, supplier follow-up, packaging improvement, or employee training. Relevant findings are communicated to the responsible teams and incorporated into future production controls where applicable. This practical approach supports consistent manufacturing and clearer cooperation with customers across different markets and project requirements.
